The Breeswim Policies

Enrolments

  • Classes operate as a term block corresponding with the public school term.
  • Enrolments are possible after the commencement of term depending on availability.
  • All LTS enrolments are to go through David Bree. For Breeswim enquiries call 0438112247
  • Students are placed in classes according to their ability.
  • All new students over the age of 4 Years will undergo a FREE assessment prior to enrolling with Breeswim

Payments

  • Payment of the whole term must be paid to confirm all bookings.
  • Children will be automatically dropped from classes where fees are not paid by Week 2 of the term start unless otherwise discussed.
  • Public Holidays are free from swimming lessons and are not included in your term payments.
  • Discounts apply for families with 3 or more children enrolled during the same term.
    • 10% for 3 children,
    • 15% for 4 or more children enrolled from the same family.
  • Please note that I do not provide EFTPOS facilities at the pool. Payment can be made by Cash or Direct Deposit.

Cancellations

  • Refunds are not given under any circumstances.
  • Credits will only be issued in extenuating circumstances such as illness or injury that will affect their attendance for more than 5 weeks. In this instance, a medical certificate must be received. Breeswim will offer a credit valid for 12 months but this will be decided on a case by case basis and must be applied for in writing.
  • A $40 administration fee will be charged if we do agree to a credit.

Make Up Lessons

  • Unfortunately, with the lack of pool space availability, there will be no makeup’s given for swimming lessons missed. If an opportunity arises to open more classes on different days this make up policy is subject to change.

PHOTOS

  • Breeswim may occasionally take photos of your child during lesson times. These photos may be used on our website and for other promotional purposes. If you do NOT want photos taken of your child, please be sure to notify us.

CLOTHING ATTIRE

  • All children under the age of 2 are required to wear a swim nappy.
  • Children are not to enter the pool or use the pool outside of their scheduled lesson times.

Please Remember:

  • Breeswim and LAPS Swim Centre have rules and guidelines in place to ensure a safe environment for everyone visiting the centre. Breeswim is a partner of LAPS Swim Centre and as such require all students attending lessons to follow both BREESWIM and LAPS policies & procedures at all times.
  • Any adult accompanying children to lessons must remain in the centre.
  • Children MUST be supervised AT ALL TIMES. Breeswim or LAPS Swim Centre will take NO responsibility for any risks of injury in the coming & goings of enrolled participants whilst using the centre’s facilities.
  • Children must enter the pool area with their parents. Children must remain with their parents until they are called for their lesson.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the acceptable behaviour of their children when they are not under the control of a swim instructor.
